1. Overview & Commitment to Transparency
At Devnivo (“we”, “our”, or “us”), we take pride in delivering bespoke websites, e-commerce stores, custom SaaS applications, and mobile solutions of the highest engineering caliber. Because our solutions involve dedicated engineering hours, bespoke architecture, and tailor-made design work, this Policy sets forth clear expectations regarding cancellations, deposits, and refunds.
2. Advance Deposits (50% Milestone)
To kick off engineering, secure dedicated developer capacity, and allocate private staging infrastructure, clients may elect to pay a 50% Advance Deposit or 100% Full Payment:
Initial 24-Hour Grace Period: If you cancel your project within 24 hours of placing your deposit and prior to the commencement of design/coding work, you are eligible for a 100% full refund of the deposit, minus any third-party payment processing fees incurred (such as PayPal, Google Pay, or card network transaction costs).
Active Engineering Phase: Once custom UI/UX design or software engineering has commenced, the initial 50% deposit becomes non-refundable, as it covers the real labor, server resource allocation, and bespoke asset creation completed up to that point.
3. Final Balance & Client Approval
The remaining 50% balance is only invoiced when the project milestone is reached and deployed to a private staging URL for your interactive review:
You have the right to request revisions within the agreed scope until the delivered solution matches your specifications.
Once final balance is settled and production credentials, source code, and domain handover occur, the project is considered fully accepted and delivered, and subsequent payments are non-refundable.
4. Non-Refundable Items & Third-Party Fees
The following costs are non-refundable under all circumstances:
Third-party domain registrations, custom SSL certificates, or Cloudflare paid plans procured on the client's behalf.
Third-party API credits, paid plugins, fonts, stock photography licenses, or external hosting fees.
Work completed during custom scope expansions or additional change-order requests approved in writing.
5. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To request a project cancellation or review of a refund eligibility, please submit a written notice including your Order ID and project details:
Eligible refunds are processed back to the original method of payment (Google Pay, PayPal, or Credit/Debit Card) within 5 to 10 business days depending on your issuing bank.
