Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026 • Official Transparency Disclosure for Devnivo (https://devnivo.shop)

1. What Are Cookies & Local Storage?

Cookies are small cryptographic text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you browse websites. LocalStorage is modern browser storage used to preserve state between visits without sending data across network requests. Devnivo uses these technologies strictly for essential security, authentication integrity, and optional anonymized analytics.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

A. Strictly Necessary Security Cookies (Always Active)

These cookies are vital for the platform to function and cannot be disabled. They protect against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), verify authorized access to the Client Portal, and enforce Zero-Trust session isolation:

  • devnivo_edge_session: HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax cookie storing a tamper-evident session token to verify user authentication on the Cloudflare Edge network. (Duration: 5 minutes access rotation / 7 days refresh).
  • devnivo_dev_bypass: Encrypted cookie allowing verified lead engineers to bypass maintenance modes.

B. Functional Preferences (LocalStorage)

Used to remember your UI display selections without storing any personally identifiable information:

  • devnivo_theme: Preserves your Dark / Light theme visual preference.
  • devnivo_cookie_consent: Remembers whether you accepted our cookie notice to prevent redundant banners.

C. Anonymized Measurement & Analytics

We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand visitor volume and page performance. IP addresses are anonymized, and user activity is not tied to commercial advertising profiles.

  • _ga, _gid: Google Analytics identifier cookies used to aggregate pageview statistics.

3. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage or clear cookies at any time via your browser settings. Most modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) allow you to block third-party cookies, view stored cookies, or delete cookies upon closing your browser. Please note that disabling Strictly Necessary Cookies may prevent access to authenticated Client Portal features.
